Day 1

So, it's raining outside, I mean, really, really raining.  Buckets of rain, as Col. Nowland would say.  We're in Mrs. Christmas' (Aside: what an AWESOME name, huh?) computer lab working on our blogs hollering at each other "What's your URL???" and oohing at each other's pages until we're all just glowing with a warm, fuzzy feeling of internet community.  Mr. M is everywhere at once answering questions he's heard probably 20 times each now, but is still smiling and being very, very patient.  Honestly, I didn't think I'd like blogging this much, but, when you throw in a group of fantastical people and some hopefully interesting discussion topics, I'm starting to look forward to it.  So far, my first year at the currently very wet OBA is going very well.  (Aside 2: Pray for me this afternoon.  I'm going for my first weight lifting "session", if you will, and I'm more than just slightly apprehensive.)  Such is Day One of OBA Bible Blogs!!
Ta Ta For Now! :)

  1. Jess,
    Swim Practice was torture.
It was dry land. I am so sore.
it made a 500 free look like a piece of cake.
    hope weight lifting went well!

  2. Katie,
OUCH OUCH OUCH!! I'm glad I didn't go. Weight lifting was really good. It was hard, but not too hard, and I feel good for doing it. You should come some time!! And I promise, from now on, I will do my best not to complain about a 500 free. No guarantees, but I'll try! :)
